Animal Shelter proudly serving Enoch Cree Nation since Dec 2019
How do you save 10,000 animals? By spaying/neutering ONE
Spay and Neuter is one of Enoch Animal Service's main focuses. Alberta is in a pet overpopulation crisis which is overwhelming shelters and rescues.
Simply put there is not enough space for the amount of animals that need.
The best way to combat this overpopulation, is to spay/neuter to prevent unwanted and accidental litters.
We are focused on helping pet owners access spay/neuter so that we can get as many pets from our Nation in as possible.
When considering adding a new pet to your family, it is important to factor in the costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, yearly exams, and deworming. These are all needed to ensure your pet is healthy and safe, which in turn helps cut down on medical vet bills during your pets lifetime.
Even indoor only dogs and cats require yearly vaccination or they risk getting ill, as most common illnesses can be brought into your home on your shoes.
